That’s what Damascus is all about—helping brands and people see clearly again.

My Journey

For almost a decade, I worked in pastoral, creative and communication strategy—leading visual media at one of the largest churches in Southern California. I told stories through video, built content that moved people to action, and learned how to translate complex messages into clear moments that stick.

But in 2018, I discovered the StoryBrand framework—and it completely shifted how I approached storytelling, marketing, and message clarity.

It didn’t just change my career—it deepened my calling.

Now, through Damascus, I combine that framework with years of creative experience to help businesses simplify their message, amplify their story, and grow with clarity.

Why "Damascus"

The name comes from Acts 9—a story of radical transformation. Saul, on the road to Damascus, is stopped by a blinding light. He’s confused, humbled, and disoriented. But through the obedience of a man named Ananias, he’s healed.

 

“Brother Saul… the Lord has sent me so that you may see again.”

That verse is the heartbeat of what I do.


Whether I’m working with a brand or an individual, I want to help people see again—to see their value, their message, and their next step with clarity.

Where We’re Going

Today, Damascus is a Creative + Coaching Agency—offering two clear paths to transformation:

  • Story Coaching: for business owners and leaders who need message clarity

  • Creative Services: for brands ready to turn clarity into content that connects

Soon, we’ll also be launching a personal coaching arm based on my upcoming book—designed to help individuals realign their lives by restoring their vision in three areas: alignment, authority, and availability.

Because it’s not just about good marketing. It’s about clarity that changes everything.
